Füscher Torl is with its 2,428 meters one of the higher viewpoints of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, connecting Salzburg with Carinthia. Initially built in the 1930s to give Austria an economic boost in the Depression, the road is now essentially a tourist attraction.
